I'm not a camper, nor do I go to music festivals. This was me, camping for the first time as a adult, at a small music festival in Richard Branson's back garden (fields). So it wasn't exactly roughing it. Food and drink were free, and the toilets and showers were lovely. My tent was large enough to stand up in (and therefore get dressed with ease in). I realised I could camp, if it was at the "less crowded and lovely" end of camping!
Last year I gave a talk, "The Power of Niche" at Blogstock, and were kindly hosted by Hertz, in their fabulous pre-pitched teepees. Again, definitely the type of camping I was down with. Definitely an upgrade from my blue tent the year before! Tons of space, little mattresses, and you can stand up and almost walk around - I can't imagine getting dressed where you can't stand up properly! Bravo if you're a happy camper, its just not for me!
I'm excited that I'm speaking again at Blogstock 2015 this September, and Hertz will be there again with their VIP tents.
And more excitingly, Hertz is running a competition for you guys to win a VIP Blogstock ticket including staying in a Hertz teepee too! It's easy to enter, so head on over to check out how!
Maybe I'll be seeing you there!
