The Viva Las Vegas Pool Party used to just be on a Sunday, last year was Saturday and Sunday, but this year was all three days. There's so much to do all weekend, that we stillonly headed there for he Sunday, and we sadly missed the vintage swimsuit competition. But it was still fabulous!
There are bands, cocktails, sun and awesome swimsuit fashions to fill your time, and we definitely got inspired by some poolside hair
Freya Lingerie were kind enough to send me a bikini for my trip, which is the first bikini I've worn in about 15 years. eeek!
I actually felt great in the bikini, the bottoms never rode up (so you don't have to pull them over your bottom all of the time!), and it's so high cut that I didn't feel too naked. You buy them in bra sizes too, so it fitted great!
Here I am, in my bikini with my favourite youtuber - Lisa Freemont Street, she gives such great vintage hair tutorials, and I was excited when she approached me to ask for a snap (she's covering Viva for Vintage Life Magazine I believe).
The Viva Las Vegas pool party always makes me feel like I've stumbled into another world - it's colourful, relaxed and fabulous to look at.
This year I even saw two men jiving together for the first time, which was fun!
Here is Pip, posing with a lovely lady who we spotted in one of the vintage bikinis that she had tried on previously (before buying the vintage swimsuit she's in).
