The Chap Olympiad 2011

The Chap Olympiad is perhaps my most favourite time of the year. It is the ultimate picnic, and you know how I love picnics.

I noticed today that the tickets finally went on sale today, so I snapped mine up sharpish! I had been paranoid I'd miss out, after looking forward to it for so long!

2011 will be my third year, so I thought I'd take a quick look back at my last two visits.

So, the 2009 Chap Olympiad was my first, and I went to celebrate a burlesquer's birthday. Sadly it rained on and off, but we didn't let it ruin our fun!

                                

I had no doubt I would return in 2010, and this time it meant meeting lots of lovely online friends for the first time.

I actually went with the lovely Fran, who is now one of my Rockalily models!

We may have started drinking those jugs of cocktails quite early, and we may have had quite a few of them....ahem.

 

2011 looks to be even more fun, as I will now know so many more faces there. Fingers crossed for great weather again. May glorious clothes reign once more.
