Steve Jobs - His Philosophy & Legacy

Today I found out that Steve Jobs had died. A man who has influenced our daily lives in ways he probably never imagined.

I got a copy of the October issue of The Market (a business magazine) today, and I found the front cover a little chilling.

They were of course referencing the fact that Steve had stepped down as chief executive of Apple, but today the headline had another meaning.

I opened the magazine to read the article, and again.....slight shivers down my spine:

The article, written by Saul Wordsworth reminds us that it could be said that Steve Jobs has influenced out culture more than any other human being in the last 30 years. A powerful man.

Here are some of my favourite Steve Jobs quotes:

“We made the buttons on the screen look so good you’ll want to lick them.” – Wikiquote, as quoted in Fortune magazine (4 January 2000)

“You can’t just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they’ll want something new.” – Inc. Magazine

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently” – Think Different, narrated by Steve Jobs

“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it by living someone else's life''
