Rockalily Style: Vintage look but modern clothes

 

Today I have quite a 1940s vintage look, but I'm in modern clothes - easier to wash!

So I have a charity shop Miss Selfridges jumper tucked into my Freddies of Pinewood jeans. I have some new patent black brogues from Clarks.

Wow how weird that modern clothes can give a really vintage look. The pictures look great and I really enjoyed the fact that you can still achieve those great older looks even with today's fashion trends. What was quite amazing was that you got a 1940's look which I feel was one of the greatest years in fashion design.
