Pop-Up Prosecco and 1920s Mussel Men

Oooh I love an invite I do. So when I was invited to a pop up restaurant in Dalston, of course we accepted!

The bar is Fabrica584, which is also on Kingsland Road (like the salon is), and for a weekend they are transforming into Mussel Men, a pop up moules and frites restaurant.

The invite said:

Enjoy a portion of moules and frites and a glass of Prosecco on and
experience the unique ambience that only the Mussel Men provide.

The Mussel Men ethos stems from our drive to make seafood more accessible
to people on the street. Moules frites is a favourite of many but is
predominantly eaten in a
restaurant. With the demand for new, exciting and healthy food on-the-go
we want to be at the forefront of this drive for change.

Now, I'm a vegetarian, so the seafood is a no go for me, but they have said the frites will be delicious enough on their own, so I'm excited to go and enjoy the 1920s muscle/mussel men. There are apparently hourly press up competitions, which I hope I get to ....ahem....enjoy.

It costs £27 for two people including your bottle of prosecco.

If you pop in at the weekend you may well see the Rockalily family enjoying a glass (me, Lucie and Ellington will be propping up a table at some point!).
