You may have heard ripplings on the internet, but if not, no fear, here I am to show you the way!
Olaplex is not a conditioner, nor is it a protein or keratin treatment. It works internally to cross-link single sulfur hydrogen bonds to create disulfide bonds. These bonds are broken during chemical and heat treatments. It is a unique product with 8 worldwide patents due to be published soon.
Olaplex is silicone free, sulfrate free, and never tested on animals.
Olaplex can be added into bleach, tints (colours) as well as being used as a stand-alone treatment. We charge £20 to add it to any service.
The changes that Olaplex cause in the hair are permanent, and disulfide links it has created remains, unless it gets broken again by heat or chemical processes.
Fancy reading some reviews of Olaplex?
"One week and five washes down and my hair is just as soft, lustrous and strong as on the day. Total freedom of colour and elimination of damage - what's not to love?"
"I was dumbfounded. Never has my bottle-blonde hair looked so shiny or felt so soft - without also feeling very, very greasy. It swooshed. It bounced."
" I've worked in the beauty world for years, and this is one of the very few science-based products that truly delivers on its promise. From now on, I will never let a colorist dye my hair unless they use it. "
"It is a thrilling game-changer, all the more remarkable for having been developed by a beauty outsider at his home. After John Frieda colourist Nicola Clarke applied it to my hair, which has been getting thinner and crispier for years, I could barely believe the difference it made to the way it looked and felt. In fact, I’ll say this now and get it over with, I cried with happiness. As you can tell, I’m impressed." – The Telegraph
