My trip to Brighton

You don't always need to travel too far or for too long to feel like you've had a holiday. I decided to treat myself to a night away in Brighton, and made myself treat it exactly like a hoiday. A holiday playlist was made, outfits planned (three pairs of shoes, three handbags etc) and off we went.

Holiday rule number 1 - you have to have a cheeky drink on the train. Obviously.

The hotel room was a bit of a treat, and I got a good deal where we got £95 discount (should have been £180)

As I was by the seaside I went for a nautical theme with my outfit. My dress is a charity shop dress, with a vintage bag and nautical shoes from Office.

Brighton has to start with chips on the pebbles, and then playing the arcades on the pier.

I only managed a blurry outfit pic of my night time outfit, but its a River Island skirt (which is leather/pvc-esque) with a River Island cropped top. I even wore leopard print heels.

The night may have ended dancing to hip hop and r&b......pretty awesome.

The mild hangover needed a good breakfast so we went to the Diner on the seafront.

It definitely hit the spot. I'm not generally a fan of overly 'themed' places, but I actually really liked this place. Worth checking out.

Saturday meant tattoo day! Nautical was the theme, and I ended up with a beach scene.

We went to Magnum Opus, after a Rockalily Cuts recommended it to me.

Overall, a flipping lovely time in the sun by the sea. When can I do it again?
