Women often get labelled as bossy, it's rarely an adjective that is thrown at men. Expectations of our behaviours are still largely dictated by gender. Boys are told not cry like a girl and not to throw like a girl.
Women (almost exclusively over men) are described as bossy, bitchy, feisty, bubbly and ditsy. These words are designed to keep us in our place.
These are the subtle examples of everyday sexism that sculpt what how we expect women to behave.
I'm not bossy. I'm the boss.
I was luckily enough to be asked to design a 3D printed necklace with Zazzy, and I designed my own
"Boss Not Bossy" necklace!
It's now available to buy, if you fancy showing the world that you're also the boss, and not bossy.
The necklace costs £32.69 and can be 3D printed in three different finishes.
