Hackney Weekender

Yesterday I was lucky enough to go to the Radio 1 Hackney Weekender. The weather gods were shining down, and I was able to wear my dress with no cardigan for the whole event.

As you can tell, I was very excited to get there! It had been a long wait, and it was hard to believe the day had finally come!

I spent most the time in the dance tent or the 1extra stage, and definitely enjoyed having an opportunity to dance like a crazy person. I certainly got a few looks, but I was having far too much fun to concern myself with anyone else!

I made sure we saw Ed Sheeran, who I am mildly obsessed with, and we loved singing along with the crowd.

I had wanted to buy a baseball cap from one of the stands, but my wine cocktails made me forget. I am determined to start wearing baseball caps again.......(don't judge me!).

The atmosphere was great, the event was really well run.

Overall, a smashing day! Followed by a slightly less smashing morning after ;-)
