everyday sexism at restaurants

Last night in a restaurant I ordered a bottle of prosecco. I ordered it, not my date. When the bottle arrived, I requested a wine bucket to keep it cool. I was clearly the one ordering. But then the waiter showed the bottle to my date, the man at the table. The waiter asked the man whether the prosecco was okay.
