Our thoughts are what define our moods and we have control over these. It can take practice but it's well worth it. You can change from a pessimist to an optimist, if you want to! I did! 

If someone is rude to you, whether a shop assistant or family member, creating excuses (or explanations) for their attitude allows you to keep your mind full of kindess and positivity. 

Being willing to see the kind or more forgiving side to other people's actions allows you to let it go, and not hold onto anger or bitterness.
