Welcome to my 7 Day Challenge - Challenge Yourself To Be Happier. Happiness is a choice; a series of actions and thoughts. It rarely happens by accident, we find what we seek.

If you need a little kick in the behind in creating your own happiness, I hope you'll find these 7 challenges useful, or at least interesting!

Challenge 1

We all have people who irritate or annoy us, or we simply feel a lot anger or hatred towards. Ironically, people who annoy us are often reflecting traits we don't like in ourselves (it's easier to hate them than ourselves). If someone has wronged us, we may feel validated in carrying anger around, but all we're doing is punishing ourselves. That box of anger weighs us down, but has zero impact on the person whose name is written on the label.

We will be happier if we carry less negative baggage. If less people annoy us, we will be less annoyed. If we hate less people, we will feel more loved.

So  its in our own interests to let these black clouds go. Happy people don't feel annoyed, bitter or angry towards others.

Picture one person who you carry a negative box of emotions about. Look beyond your feelings about them, and instead consider their positive qualities. Everyone has them. Write a list of things their friends and family must love about them.
