Being included as a vintage salon on BBC documentary

Did any of you spot Rockalily Cuts on BBC4 recently? We were featured briefly as part of an actually excellent documentary on the history of relationship between hair and culture from the 50s onwards.

It's always very scary speaking on camera, and it's not something I do often. I'm much more confident with the written word! Like many people, I hate hearing my own voice played back to me. Back when I interviewed Ami James and I used a dictaphone I found it painfully hard to transcribe my own voice too.

The documentary was such an interesting snapshot of Britain's hair over the last 60 years, and we all enjoyed watching and learning (and just cringed over our own bits!).

Did you watch it?
