Becoming alternatively lovely

I was chatting to the scrummy Khandie Khisses today and she mentioned something about the journey I had been on (metaphorically speaking, rather than actually moving anyplace), which made me have a ponder.

I then dug out this trying on my first 'alternative' look - a simple vintage inspired cardigan and pencil skirt.

It felt like a big deal at the time, but looking back it seems so tame now! I had no visible tattoos, and very normal looking hair (look at that thick mane!).

I actually feel a little sad that I used to hate my body then and really thought I was the 'fat one'.....crazy how women in particular have such twisted self images.

This wasn't that long ago.....I can judge it from the house I lived must be about 2-3 years ago I think.
