For the first time in ages I started a book this morning, and finished it by 5pm. Love it when the power of narrative grabs me by the throat and refuses to let go till its done.
The book was Mr Penumbra's 24-hour bookstore, and I enjoyed it from the very beginning.
I find it witty (yes I laughed out loud a few times), engaging (I read it in under 12 hours) and cheering (I smiled as I closed the cover).
It's a better written and funnier version of The Da Vinci Code, if the Da Vinci Code was set in Google's offices.
