I am a campaigner for quality tattoos - see here and have a range of quality on myself.
I wanted to show an example of quality. Now, my first rose (on the left) is done by a quality shop, and I am happy with it, however, you can see, when compared to my new rose, the level of detail is different.
Now, the new tattoo is fresh today, so is obviously very bright, and perhaps it is a little unfair to compare to an old tattoo. But it does illustrate a point.
Look at the leaves. Old rose on the left uses one shade of green, with black shading to create tone. New rose on the right uses two greens and black shading. It also has a yellow line dividing each leaf in two.
