The Women of World Two

I stumbled across a facebook page celebrating the women of World War Two here.

Here are some amazing colour photos of the women who helped with the war effort. I love how colour makes them seem more real; just like us.

Norma Jean (later to become Marilyn Monroe) was working during at the Radio Planes Munitions Factory. An army photographer snapped her and encouraged her to become a model. Who knew what was awaiting her!
